ParticipantI am running into an issue where the first instance of the recurring event displays in the calendar but when clicked it redirects to the next date. This is for all recurring events.
So for example a recurring event that occurs once every week, the First instance links to the Second instance. We can’t link to the first instance. It’s confusing for our customers. Any ideas on how to resolve this? Thanks!

MemberHi, Jesse.
Sorry you’re experiencing this.
Could you please link me to an event on your site that is doing this and also include a screenshot of its wp-admin event edit screen?

MemberThanks for that information.
Please clarify a couple things:
- Where did you see Debug Bar plugin recommended?
- What do you mean by No Conflict Mode?
Regarding your PHP version, WordPress requires only 5.2.4+ but highly recommends PHP 7.
PHP 5.4 is old. The current version is either 5.6 or 7. Here’s some reasons to have at least 5.6:
- PHP 7 speed improvement over 5.6
- PHP’s own website only refers to upgrading from 5.6 to 7, not from 5.4 to 7, since 5.4 is not current.
So, while I think you upgrading your PHP version would be very good for you, it likely isn’t the solution to this issue.
Please do enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see while navigating your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.

ParticipantHere is the log with only TEC and TEC pro and 2016 theme. The issue still happening during this setup so I would think it couldn’t be a plugin or theme issue. Thanks

MemberThanks. Sorry to ask, but this is an odd one and I wanted to make sure we weren’t missing an easy fix…
Could you please try creating a new recurrence series (with only our plugins active and Twenty Sixteen/Seventeen theme) and see if this new recurrence series of events has the same issue?
