    New change with upgrade re: recurring events

    In the past: the schedule showed up on the front end as:
    Schedule: Every day until October 15, 2015 (See all)

    Now after upgrade it shows up as:
    Schedule: An event every day that lasts 0 day(s) and 0 hour(s), the last of which will begin on July 16, 2016 (See all)

    Maybe this is related: we are no longer able to edit that description where before we could. It is the description that pops up when you hover over “Recurring Event” on the public event listing.

    Hi @communityanswers and @ashlandartcenter,

    Thanks both for reaching out to us on this!

    When ‘Custom Recurrence’ was introduced a couple of releases ago, the field for recurrence description was replaced by the automated message you are pointing out. This resulted inconvenient for some of our users so we decide it was a good idea to bring this field back. This ‘fix’ will be included in the upcoming release of Events Calendar PRO which will be released next month.

    Do you think you can wait until this is added back in next release? The other option is to downgrade the plugins to a previous version where this was still working.
