Recurring events return "page not found"

    I’ve got our club calendar set up with both single events and many recurring events.

    Now my recurring events are no longer linking to the event page and are returning a “page not found” error. I am sure they were working fine previously; I’d recently updated the plugin when there was the issue of the calendar not displaying any events; it may have been at that point that the recurring events stopped linking.

    I just updated both plug-ins to the the latest versions but it didn’t solve the issue. I am running WP 4.7.6

    I tried setting a new recurring “test” event (thinking perhaps that it had to do with the events that had been previously published) but the same things happens with a new recurring event.

    Non-recurring events are fine, and posting a new non-recurring event does not result in the problem.

    Any thoughts? I purchased the Pro plug-in specifically for the recurring events capabilities so I hope we can solve this.

    If you click on an event such as “Prospect Park Thursday Walk” or “Introduction to Birdwatching” you will see the issue.

    I’m having the same issue. Calendar wasn’t displaying any events, so I updated the Events Calendar and Pro plugins. Now the Calendar is displaying events, but all links to recurring events are broken. Please advise!

    Update: I was able to fix this problem by doing the Permalinks flush recommended in this post: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/fixing-http-404-errors/

    Thank you Kate! I did the same and it worked…even though it was already set to “Post name”, I just re-saved it, now all is okay!
