Recurring Events Question: Multiple Dates and Times

I am curious how the ‘custom’ recurring feature works.

I need to create a site where an event will run at various days and times. For example:

My Event
Monday January 1 at 8pm
Tuesday January 2 at 6pm
Tuesday January 2 at 8pm
Friday January 5 at 10pm

Can this be done using the Events Calendar Pro Plugin?

Hi Josh. Thanks for your note here, and my apologies for the delay in getting you a response. The colleague of mine who was previously managing this forum is unfortunately no longer with us, and we’re just today getting caught up on the threads she was owning. I’m happy to take point on this for you going forward and will be checking back here daily to ensure I get you a response in as timely a fashion as possible.

In terms of how custom recurrence behaves, did you ever see this blog post we put out on it (https://theeventscalendar.com/pro-2-0-a-detailed-look-at-custom-recurrence/)? That may be a good starting point. The biggest element of your request that I see problematic is having multiple times / having an event repeat twice in the same day; usually recurrence is limited to 1x a day, and so you may have to either create those Tuesday entries as one event (specifically noting in the description that there are two showtimes), or one of them will have to live outside of the broader recurrence pattern. Selecting Monday/Tuesday/Friday, the first week of the month, should be doable as a custom option though.
