With recurring events, you can choose Dutch, from the list to ‘bekijk alle’, if you choose this option you will get an error page because it looks at www: // site name / sub / all

This is wrong because the referral to; www: // sitename / sub / alle

    https://www.theaterreserveringen.com/event/the-bodyguard-5/alle/

    What’s wrong?

    Hi R,

Sorry to hear you’ve experienced difficulties. Since you seem to be using the latest versions of both The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO and because ‘all’ is translated to ‘alle’ for both of those plugins, I’m not too sure why you’d be hitting this.

Can you try visiting Settings → Permalinks (you don’t need to change anything though, just visiting this page can flush permalinks and restore rules that influence how URLs are understood) and see if that helps?

If it doesn’t, can you confirm if you have any custom translations in place?

    Thanks!

    Hi R,

    You’re absolutely right.

Unfortunately, there can be a delay from when we change strings of text within the plugin to when the translations become available (since we depend on community contributions) and this is one such case.

What you can do, though, is obtain the latest Dutch translation for The Events Calendar from the following location:

    translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/the-events-calendar/stable/nl/default

All you need to do is use the option at the bottom of the screen to export all current translations as a machine object message catalog (mo) file. Then, take that file and rename it to the-events-calendar-nl_NL.mo and add it to the following directory within your WordPress site:

    wp-content/languages/plugins

With that done, please visit the Settings → Permalinks screen as outlined in my previous reply. You should then find that any /alle/ URLs work.

    Does that help?

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
