Recurring Events Only Creating One Instance

This one has me a little stumped. I’m running just the events calendar/events calendar pro plugins and the twenty fourteen theme. I’m able to create recurring events this month without issue, but if I try to create one in July that occurs once a day for say four days only a single instance will be created.

I setup a new WordPress install with Twenty Fourteen and The Events Calendar plugin(s) and it does appear to be working there.

Any insight into why it’s behaving this way would be very helpful. Attached is a animated gif of what I’m seeing.

I suspect this is caused by a setting found under Events -> Settings -> General.

More specifically, take a look at the value found under Create recurring events in advance for.
