GuestHi
We’re looking to replace Events Manager with a Woocommerce solution and found your WooCommerce tickets integration, which looks great.
I saw on the homepage though that “recurrence isn’t supported” with the WooCommerce tickets part, but looking at the changelog it mentioned that recurrence was working – is this the case? Recurrence is very important to our site as we list and sell tickets to over 1000 events over the summer, and as such we don’t want to be adding them all in individually.
Secondly, I’m a bit confused by the prices of licences, we currently don’t have The Events Calendar licence, so would we need to purchase one of those at €89 + a Woocommerce ticket licence at €89?
And finally, a few “quirks” of our needs are:
Export a CSV file of the event and email it to us / the venue when tickets export – is this possible within the Woocommerce ticket framework?
The ability for a user to view their tickets from their “my account” page as a HTML page
If the user purchased 5 tickets, we would need a unique ID for each of those tickets (so for example 00001 – 00005) – is this possible?
If not, we do have a good budget set aside for the development of these areas. Are you available to take on paid work to adjust the plugin to our exact needs?
And finally, I note that the Events Calendar 4 is being released imminently. We’re looking to launch the new site on the 1st January 2015 and would be interested in seeing if the 4 version would be stable and usable by then? We wouldn’t want to develop the site around the current framework to become obsolete by next year. Our main sales won’t be until April / May time when the framework will need to be flawless as our site will handle hundreds of sales daily.
Thanks

MemberHey Russ, thanks for reaching out!
Excellent questions. Let’s try ti hit them in order.
I saw on the homepage though that “recurrence isn’t supported” with the WooCommerce tickets part, but looking at the changelog it mentioned that recurrence was working – is this the case?
Unfortunately, that is not the case. We have been making strides toward supporting recurring events in the ticketing framework, but still have some work to do to get it going. If you add your vote to the feature request, you will receive notifications when there are updates.
Secondly, I’m a bit confused by the prices of licences, we currently don’t have The Events Calendar licence, so would we need to purchase one of those at €89 + a Woocommerce ticket licence at €89?
Yes, that is correct. Each plugin is a separate license.
Export a CSV file of the event and email it to us / the venue when tickets export – is this possible within the Woocommerce ticket framework?
Yes, you can certainly export a CSV report for the event that contains recent sales–that can be emailed or downloaded from the plugin.
The ability for a user to view their tickets from their “my account” page as a HTML page
Shoot, no. This is a great idea and something we’ve heard come up in the past, but I’m afraid it’s not supported at the moment.
If the user purchased 5 tickets, we would need a unique ID for each of those tickets (so for example 00001 – 00005) – is this possible?
Yes, each ticket gets a unique ID. You’re covered there. 🙂
And finally, I note that the Events Calendar 4 is being released imminently. We’re looking to launch the new site on the 1st January 2015 and would be interested in seeing if the 4 version would be stable and usable by then?
We definitely expect 4.0 to be super stable on first release. We’re quality testing now and putting it through the ringer as far as making sure it is as good as we can possibly make it. We would never release something that we’d be uncomfortable calling stable.
I hope this helps! Please feel free to let me know if you have any other questions here and I’d be happy to help as best I can. 🙂
Cheers!
