We run a 10 day long festival. You can see our development site here http://noosalongweekend.com/wp/ though we have not built too many of the events as yet.

    The issues at present are:

    1. We have multiple recurring events sometimes on one day, sometimes 3 or 4 performances on the same day. How can these be built? I cannot see how to build a recurring event on the same day.

    2. The list view of recurring events , which is our standard view, creates multiple copies of the same event. I understand the logic here but it looks nuts having the the event showing multiple times for each performance time. I know there are options to display only the first event, and a tick box option on the live screen to change the display to not show recurring events after the first event, but is there a way that in list view, a recurring performance could be displayed only once with multiple date or time options displayed instead of creating a whole new listing?

Thank you for any help you can provide.

Hi Nahum. Thanks for your question.

    1)

Multiple occurrences within a recurring event series on the same day is not currently possible but is a feature request we’re aware of.

    2)

When you check that box on the front-end List View, the page loads http://www.noosalongweekend.com/wp/events/list/?tribe_paged=1&tribe_event_display=list&tribeHideRecurrence=1

That’s just FYI if you choose to leverage that URL query parameter.

    There’s also a setting in wp-admin > Events > Settings — http://cl.ly/2E2w103g0L1e

Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

    Thanks!
