ParticipantHi, i created an event, starting on 14 april, and choose ‘repeat event’ options as the image linked below (on 15, 16 and 17 ha to repeat ad different times). My problem is that in the calendar, as you can see by the image, onlye the first event is appearing, whil the other not.
I tried to deactivate all the plugins and change theme, no success, always this problem.
Where is the problem?

ParticipantHowdy David!
I would love to help you with this. If you set the terimenra date to be the 21st or later I believe it should work exactly as you expect. Make sure to set it on both recurrences. Did that work?
Cheers!

ParticipantHi, thanks for your answer, i tried but no success.

ParticipantHmm that is certainyl strange. It is possible to limit recurrences with certain settings. Would you mind grabbing your system information and pasting it here? Make sure to use the ‘Set as private reply’ checkbox to protect your private information from the public. You can find the system info by going to WP Admin > Events > Settings, clicking on the “Help” tab, and scrolling down to the ‘System Information’ box. (Or by going to [yoursite]/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=tribe_events&page=tribe-events-calendar&tab=help) That will give mea detailed breakdown of your settings so I can further diagnose this.

ParticipantThank you! I do believe this revealed the problem. In your settings you have:
Clean up recurring events after = 10000000000 Create recurring events in advance for= 10000000000I do believe we are running into some y2k-esque issues here. That’s a lot of months! That would cover a span of over 1.6 billion years. We should probably bump it down to something more reasonable. 🙂 The default is 24 months… Maybe do 72 or 96 ? Setting it too high could definitely slow down your site, even if it’s not so high it completely breaks recurring events.
Does that work?

ParticipantHi, thanks, you were right the problem was there.
I have two more questions now:
– the recurretn event is repeating now, for example the event on 20 april, the one which i tried to put as recurrent, appears twice in each day o i put as recurrent, where is the mistake?– i’d want to make appear over the title of an event the beginning and end date of the event, considering the end as the end of the whole period of recurrency (for example: firts date 14, recurring on 15 and 16, i’d want to appear ‘from 14 to 16 of april’); how can i do this?
Thanks for your answer

ParticipantHowdy David,
I think that event might have gotten a bit corrupted when trying to create recurrences before (while the settings still contained the big numbers). If I were you I would try creating a new event with the same details. Does that one work as expected?

ParticipantOk, now it works, in fact was a problem on a single event, thanks.
Is there a way to print only the first and the last date of a recurring event?
Or do i have to open a ticket with this question?

ParticipantHowdy David,
If you don’t mind opening a new topic each time you have a new question (unrelated to the initial one) that would be super helpful. Not only does it help keep our forums organized, but by evenly dividing questions into separate topics we have found it results in much faster responses on average due to evening the load on our team.
I would still be happy to answer your questions since you’ve already asked it, I don’t want you to wait any longer than necessary. But I’m not 100$ sure I understand. By print do you mean printing out a copy of the first/last event using a printer and paper? Or are you wondering if you can show only the first/last event on certain views? If so which views? You can clarify the above here if that’s more convenient or in a new topic.
Cheers!
