Hello!
On one of our sites, if you click the “See All” link on a recurring event, then scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the “Previous Events” link, the “Next Events” link disappears, and the first event on that page, while an event in the past, is one that occurred after the first event on the first page. Click on “Previous Events” again and you’re taken to a blank page with no links to manipulate.
This doesn’t happen if you click “Next Events” first – both the previous and next events links remain at the bottom of the page, and you can manipulate both. But if you start clicking “Previous Events,” the same behavior occurs once you get past the initial page.We have an older version of the plugin here as well, which still works this dev site: http://prod-64-coladaily.pantheonsite.io/local-cola/ where the Previous and Next links work just fine (running 4.1.2)
Steps to replicate:
1. Go to event at http://yourtownmonthly.com/event/find-pacific-coast-farmers-market-area-2/all/
2. Click the “Recurring Event (see all)” link
3. Scroll to bottom of list
4. Click “Next events” link. Display appears normal
5. Click “Previous events” link twice
6. Events displaying are in the past, but the start date is after the first date displayed on the initial page. There is no “Next events” link to click.
7. Click “Previous Events” again. No events are displayed, and there are no previous or next links. Can’t figure this one out.
Thanks!
April 26, 2017 at 7:46 pm #1275025CliffMemberHi, William.
The ordering of a recurring event series, like /event/event-title/all/, is a confirmed bug.
I’ll mark this ticket as Pending Fix, which means this thread should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.
I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.
