I feel like I’m dealing with a user error but I wanted to see if someone had come across this issue. Maybe someone knows exactly what the client is trying to do and just not doing it correct.

The customer is trying to enter an event that occurs every saturday. Is there a wrong way to do this that in turn would make it just explode and show up multiple times per day for a long time? Is there an easy way to erase these events when the user screws up? Does this sound like a weird theme conflict? We cant seem to recreate the issue which seems to make me believe its user error but if thats so, I’d like to find a way to make that not possible. Have you ever seen an issue like this? Thanks for your time!

    Hi,

Thanks for using the Events Calendar.

Here on the pre-sales forum, I’m afraid we do not provide technical support. I would ask that you take any technical support questions across to our wordpress.org forum – our staff scan it periodically and other community members may also be able to help out.

If you have purchased a plugin from us, please login and post in the premium forums for that plugin and we can help you out there:

Having said that this tends to happen if on the first event someone choose the end date as something far in the future. It will start creating a massive amount of large events.

You can delete series of recurring events by find the first one and click the delete series button.

    Thanks again!
