We currently use the free version of events calendar and we display a list of upcoming events on our front page. We’re wondering if we’ll have the ability with the pro version to only display the next occurring event in a recurring event as we have some events that occur every week and they’re taking up space that could display other events. Or can we configure it to show one entry for the event but have multiple dates beside it?
Great question! Yes, Events Calendar PRO does include a feature that allows you to display only the next recurring event instance in a series. Here is how that looks in the settings:
That will prevent all the events in a recurring series from being displayed in the list-style views of the calendar — for example, List View, Photo View, Map View, Day View and the Event List widgets.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂
Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
