Recurring Events Incorrect Dates

Hello,

I have been finding some instances where the dates on recurring events appear to be incorrect. I am attaching an example below.

Start/End
2017-09-29 @ 5:00pm – 2017-09-29 @ 9:00pm

Recurring:
Daily every 1 day
At a different time 9:00am to 5:00pm the next day
Series End on 2017-09-30

The expected behavior for the above would be two listed events:
2017-09-29 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm
2017-09-30 from 9:00am to 5:00pm

Instead the events actually display as this:
2017-09-29 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm
2017-09-30 from 9:00am to 2017-10-01 to 5:00pm

It moves the end date to October 1st @ 5:00pm instead of September 30th. I am attaching two screenshots showing the setup on the backend and the display on the frontend (also shows in the Calendar and List views as ending on October 1st).

Hi Adam,

Thanks for contacting us.

The language used in the setting might be a little confusing, but I think all you need to do here to get the pattern you are after is switch “the next day” to “the same day”.

This isn’t talking about the same or next day relative to the initial event, rather it is relative to each additional instance that is generated.

Thank you very much, after some testing that worked. I do agree it is a bit confusing as that is not how we interpreted it but once explained it does make sense.
