Recurring Events gone in 3.8

    After updating to 3.8, the recurring events feature has disappeared from the event editor.

    Please advise what might have happened.

    That is definitely a strange issue to be having. Hopefully we can help to get this sorted out for you quickly.

    To start, have you tried the Testing for Conflicts procedures to see if the issue is potentially a plugin or theme conflict?

    Hi Josh,

    Yes, I have tried the following and still don’t see that feature when editing an event.

    1. Switched to 2013 theme
    2. Disabled all plugins except 2 Tri.be ones (Community Events and Event Calendar Pro).

    I should see it within EVENT TIME & DATE section when editing an event, correct?

    Hello pmycroft,

    Thanks for following up and providing us the login information.

    I took a look at the site and it doesn’t appear that you have Events Calendar Pro installed. The two that you have are the core events calendar plugin as well as our Community Events plugin. Event recurrence is available as a feature of our Pro plugin.

    Hi Josh,

    That is so strange as it was purchased (the license key is in place), uploaded, and bought Community Events as well. I re-uploaded the Pro plugin from my account and the license key is already in place so it’s all good now.

    They did have an issue with updating plugins recently so maybe that affected this.
