Recurring Events End Time in Grid hover pop-up

Hello,

I created a recurring event today with a start time of 12pm and end time of 5pm that is meant to run every day for seven days.

The event created correctly, and it shows the correct end time in the control panel and also on the single event page and List view. However, on the Grid view when you hover over the event, the end time shows as 12am for each occurrence.

Can you please let me know how to resolve this?

Hi Frank. Thanks for noting this. Are you using UTC time zone settings, per chance? We have identified a bug over the past couple weeks related to this, where sites running UTC time settings display the end time as 12:00/0:00. We’ve got a patch on the way for 2.1. If you can confirm whether or not that is your issue, I can get a dev to take a look as needed from there to see if they’ve got any short-term solutions. Apologies for the inconvenience thus far.

Hi Rob, I don’t think I’m using UTC time zones. I have it on the city setting (Toronto and Montreal respectively). Is there some other setting I can try?

Thanks Frank. No other setting options I can think of off-hand, but before I get a dev to take a look here, let me know if you’d be interested in testing the newest code (a beta somewhere between 2.0.3 and 2.1). We’ve made a fair amount of progress on the code since the official 2.0.3 release so maybe this has been fixed therein. Seems worth a shot, anyway…shoot me a note (rob at tri.be) with a link to this thread as a point of reference and I’ll hook you up. If that doesn’t do the trick, we can see what the devs have to say.
