Here is a video showing the problem: https://www.screencast.com/t/XOxu6poS
In brief, in this article https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-recurring-events/ I found the Break From Series button and I used it as a workaround to solve the issue, but it looks like a bug to me.
What happened is we created a recurring event that recurs on the following schedule:
Thursday, October 18, from 1pm to 9pm
Friday, October 19, from 10am to 5pm
Saturday, October 20, from 9am to 5pm
Sunday, October 21, from 1pm to 4pmWe set it up accordingly (see screenshot: https://www.screencast.com/t/VvHUx6g4) and all of these times showed up correctly in the calendar, but there were also incorrect instances of the event showing up on Oct 18 from 1pm to 4pm and on Oct 18 from 9am to 5pm.
Hopefully you guys can test this to see if you can recreate this (seeming bug).
Thanks.

September 24, 2018 at 10:18 am #1629291SkyKeymasterHi again,
I’m going to set this to “pending fix” so it doesn’t get closed while we’re waiting for the update.
Thanks,
SkyOctober 4, 2018 at 6:33 am #1637293VictorKeymasterHi There!
Just wanted to share with you that a new release of our plugins is out, including a fix for this issue 🙂
Find out more about this release → https://theeventscalendar.com/maintenance-release-for-the-week-of-30-september-2018/
Please bear in mind that if you currently have recurring events with this problem, you will need to re-save them after this update so that the series regenerates correctly.
We apologize for the delay and appreciate your patience while we worked on this.
As always, we suggest to setup a dev/staging site so you can make all plugin updates without disrupting the live site.
Please update the plugins and let us know if the fix works for your site.
Best,
