    Hello,

    I have had many members of the public register on my site to submit their events via Community Events. In EVERY case where the event repeated the submitter incorrectly entered the event date and time.

    They seem to confuse the end time/date to mean the last occurrence of the event and not the end date/time of the first occurrence.

    My thought is to hide the end year unless indicated via checkbox that the end time is on a different day.

    I’m sorry to hear about the confusion with your users here and I can understand why they may be making this mistake.

    To clarify here, it sounds the idea you’re presenting is to have a single event date for the event and then a start and end time for the event?

    My idea is that the end date be invisible unless the checkbox is ticked indicating that the events finishing time is on a different date.

    There might be better ways to do this but anything that fixes the confusion from the submitters point of view would be appreciated.
