ParticipantHello,
I’m looking for some clarification of how ticket sales work with recurring events.
With recurring events are tickets sold only for each single recurrence or can a ticket be sold for the entire series of recurrences?
I’m looking to sell a single ticket for an event which spans multiple days. Eg. every saturday of August for one price.
Thanks

ParticipantHey there,
We’re working on better features around this, but for the time being, tickets can only be sold for an individual event.
To quote another of our support gurus: Tickets are created in the event editor and only per event, there is no feature to mass create tickets or share ticketing information between events.
People seeking to accomplish what you are have found success by creating a recurrence series e.g. every Saturday of August, to use your example. Then, to sell a ticket that gets the user in for the whole series, they break off the first event in the series (which is a default feature of recurring events, and takes just a click!), and sell tickets on that one event that cover the user for the whole series.
Now, if you need specific Attendees features like check-ins for each event, for example, or the pricing for each Saturday might change or have different seating limits or something, then unfortunately you’d have to create each event as a single event to sell tickets for it individually.
I hope I addressed your concern, please let me know if I did or if you have any other questions on this topic. I’m sorry if the current features aren’t enough for your needs, hopefully within a few months time we’ll have better support for this (we’re working on it! and some other cool tickets-related stuff 🙂 ).
Cheers,

ParticipantThanks George, great answer! It’s too bad it’s not supported like we’re looking for at the moment, but good to hear improvements are in the works. We’ll find a way around it in the meantime.
