ParticipantI have a problem about recurring events.
If I set a recurring event on 18 dec 2015 to be repeated yearly so 18 dec 2016
Suppose we are right now in october, I do not want in photo view to show both events but only the first one.How can do?

MemberHey there, @Corrado! Nice to see you again. 🙂
There’s an option to show only the first instance of a recurring event under Events > Settings (screenshot). Select that option, save your settings, then that should display the first event in the series and hide the others.
Thanks!

MemberHi @Corrado, thanks for following up!
Hmm, I’m still unable to replicate the issue though I do see what you’re talking about on the link you sent me.
Will you please head to Events > Settings > Help, copy the System Information at the bottom of the screen and paste it here for me in a private reply? I just want to make sure my settings match yours.
Thanks!

MemberThanks, @Corrado! This is super helpful.
Will you please try installing the latest version of The Events Calendar PRO? I see you have 3.12 installed but 3.12.2 is now available and I know there were some patches released in the latest version for recurring events. You can find the latest version by logging into this site and heading to My Account > Downloads.
Give that a shot and let’s see if that helps make a difference. 🙂

MemberOK, thanks for giving that a shot! Sorry that didn’t work.
The only thing I can think from here is that there is a conflict with your theme or perhaps another plugin. The only reason I think so is that I have not been able to recreate the issue myself on a default WordPress Twenty Fifteen theme with no other plugins installed.
Just to confirm that’s the case, will you please follow the steps outlined in this troubleshooting guide and let me know what you find? Please be sure to test all the steps thoroughly and, if you see a conflict, let me know what it is.
Thanks!

MemberPhew, thanks for the heads up! It’s good to know where the conflict is and I’ll make sure it’s noted in our system as well in case it comes up for others in the future. Thanks for reporting it!
I’ll go ahead and close this thread but do please feel free to hit us up if any other questions pop up and we’d be happy to help. 🙂
Cheers!
