    Hello! 🙂

Great support forums you guys have here!

I need some guidance on the best way to do this using Woo Commerce, Woo Tickets and Events Calendar Pro.

You can see my development site in the links below. We are selling tickets here for entry to the house and gardens. These are daily entry tickets on sale 7 days a week all year around. So I have purchased Events Calendar PRO to get access to the recurring events feature.

The types of tickets that I want to sell are:

    • Adult advance garden only £4.80 (2+ days in advance)
    • Adult regular garden only £6 (any day)
    • Child advance garden only £2.40 (2+ days in advance)
    • Child regular garden only £3 (any day)
    • Adult garden only season ticket £21 (individual)
    • Adult garden only season ticket £33 (two people)

The ‘advance’ tickets are discounted tickets but must be booked 2 days in advance to get the discount – is there a way to limit this so they can only be booked a minimum of 2 days in advance?

What is the best way to display this, obviously I don’t want a list of events for everyday of the year which is what happens by default. I think it would be good to select the number of each type of ticket first then select the date for the ticket. How do I set this up.

Very grateful for you help in advance 🙂

    Thanks,
    K

    Also one other question..

I don’t seem to be able to use my sites sidebar on the plugin pages. Is this possible?

    Thanks

    Hi,

Thanks for using our plugins. I can answer your questions:

The ‘advance’ tickets are discounted tickets but must be booked 2 days in advance to get the discount – is there a way to limit this so they can only be booked a minimum of 2 days in advance?

We do not have a feature to do this, it maybe possible with a customization, but that is beyond the support we can provide.

What is the best way to display this, obviously I don’t want a list of events for everyday of the year which is what happens by default. I think it would be good to select the number of each type of ticket first then select the date for the ticket. How do I set this up.

Again that is beyond the features we provide. You can try looking over our themer’s guide:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/

But beyond that there is not much else we have for this.

    Sidebars
Have you tried changing the Events Template in the settings?

    Head to this page:

Events > Settings > Display Tab

    Then change this setting:

Events Template to Default Page Template

    Thanks

Not as helpful as I was hoping with the first question for a premium plugin 🙁

for the last question I have looked in the Display tab under settings and that option is just not there. The only thinks on the display tab are Date settings, HTML boxes for before and after the calendar and ‘basic template settings’

Sorry you feel that way, but customization is not included when purchasing our premium plugins as per our terms and conditions.

However, I would start by looking at the ticketing template:

    wootickets\views\wootickets\tickets.php

And then following our themer’s guide:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/

Move that to your theme to edit and add the features you would like.

    Sidebar
As for the sidebar I looked at your site and noticed you are using the Enfold theme.

The developer of that theme includes coding to modify the Events Calendar and that is why that field is not showing.

You maybe to contact them to see if they have the coding to add the sidebar to the event pages or to change the event template.
