    Greetings,
This is the page I’m referencing – http://factoryofchampions.com/events/category/skill-training/

The KBT Summer Basketball Camp III is on the 7th, 8th and 9th. The date that shows on the listing is the first date (7th)

The Lil Dribblers Summer Basketball Program is on the 14th, 16th, and 18h. The date that shows on the listing is the second date (16th)

Any way to fix this so that the first date shows?

    Hello leepettijohn,

Sorry for the delay! Many of us were gone over the 4th of July weekend.

It seems your page has changed from what you described. The ‘lil dribbler’ event is now listed on the 25th of July. In the page itself though it seems there are many dates/times.

It also seems like you have one long-term sticky event listed at the top of the page (clever workaround)

Are you still having trouble with this?

Let me know how I can help!

    Cheers!

    Hi Casey,
Yes, if you could please assist me and helping me understand how to set the event to show the first occurrence of the series that would be great.

The event with the settings from the image up above shows on the 25th and not the 21st. Can you tell me how to set that correctly.

    Thanks.

    Hello leepettijohn,

I really wish I knew off the top of my head, this is puzzling.

In your general WordPress settings, I would try setting “Week starts on” to Sunday. I have not idea why that would help, but if nothing else it would give your users a more consistent view. (unless you purposely want it that way)

Everything seems to be correct, and the good news is that the event of the 21st DOES exists. It would be a completely different issue if it was just not being created.

Also good news that the main event link auto directs to the 21st (click below to test):

    http://factoryofchampions.com/event/lil-dribblers-summer-basketball-program/

So for some reason it is created and linked properly within the recurring pattern, but it is not being returned in the query of view results.

I would test for a conflict. This tutorial will help break down the problem and identify which plugin/theme is causing the issues. Try it and see if you can identify it and we can go from there!

Does this make sense? Let me know if this doesn’t work for you.

    Cheers!

Very strange. I created a new event with the same parameters and works great. Thanks for the help.

    Hello leepettijohn,

    Happy it worked out!

We’d love it if you would leave us a review and let people know how much you like the plugin! http://m.tri.be/jt

I’ll go ahead and close this thread. Let us know if we can help with anything else.
