Matt
ParticipantWe have a theater show with a complex list of days and times. The show crosses multiple weeks and some shows have multiple shows (matinee and evening). We are able to do this all with 1 recurring event thanks to the great rules setup, however we have some issues.
If you look at the “Let is Be” show on this page, the upcoming events are as follows with the clicking result:
- May 18, 8pm – event link resolves INCORRECTLY to the “/all” page for this event
- May 19, 2:30pm – event link resolves to the CORRECT afternoon matinee event page
- May19, 8pm – event link resolves INCORRECTLY to the 2:30 afternoon matinee for the same day
- May 20, 8pm – event link resolves INCORRECTLY to the “/all” page for this event
- May 21, 3pm – event link resolves INCORRECTLY to the “/all” page for this event
- May 21, 8:30pm – event link resolves INCORRECTLY to the “/all” page for this event
Please note this is a staging site which is a copy of our main site we’re licensed for. It’s switched back to Twenty Fourteen and all other plugins are deactivated. The “All” link issue is particularly bad because the visitor can never read the full description of the event (plus it’s just annoying to go in circles).
Thanks for any help or light you can shed on this.

MemberHowdy Matt,
Welcome to our support forums and thanks for reaching out to us. Let’s take a look at this issue.
At first sight i think we might be facing a bug here, seems that all occurrences for the same day are getting the same permalink. I couldn’t find this logged in our backlog but I’ll recheck with the rest of the team.
To confirm this can you please send a screenshot of the recurrence settings in the admin for this event? I’ll try to recreate this locally and make sure it has nothing to do with timezone or other settings.
Please let me know about it,
Best,
NicoMay 17, 2016 at 9:13 am #1115382Matt
ParticipantThanks for your help. I am indeed getting the same link for different timed events on the same day. And then on some days the day link is resolving to the “all” link (also an issue). Here is a screenshot of the recurrence rules.

ParticipantAlso, here are our settings in the back-end around recurring events if that helps.

MemberHi Matt,
Thanks for following up and sorry for the delay in my reply! I could reproduce this bug locally, you are right about it đ
We fixed this a while back but it seems to pop-up again. I’m talking with devs to see if this is the same issues again or a different one.
I’ll give you a heads-up as soon as possible!
