ParticipantHi, just bought your plug to use recurring events for my clients page.
I have every two weeks starting (second week of month) Thursday the event for 3 Months and after that there is switch to every first week of month.
I cannot get this to work with the rules. If I open up a new Event with the new rhythm the Events are not shown as one Line/Group of events.
Actually it would be cool that I just put any date in there I like and then I have a series. How do I do that?
Thanks Sven

ParticipantHowdy Sven,
What you want is not currently possible. But, I too would really like to see that ability. I just added this as an official feature request here. Feel free to vote on it if you would like to see this implemented.
In the mean time the main solution is to just create a separate event, one that is not part of the recurring series.
Does that all make sense? Will that work for you? Please let me know.
Cheers!

ParticipantHi Brook, thanks for your quick reply
uff! Now I have to go through a lot of events to figure out when the rhythm stops and make a new set 😐 This is not what I was looking for when I bought the plug…

ParticipantBrook, if I downgrade to the free version will I loose my series elements. Unfortunatly most of the dates of our events are not in a constant rhythm so I will have to use single events and then the proVersion is obsolete.
Are refunds possible in that case?
best Sven

ParticipantHowdy Sven,
You can absolutely get a refund. We don’t want you to keep a plugin you are not happy with! To get a refund email support @ this website, and include a copy of your invoice # that accompanied your purchase.
Downgrading should not make you lose anything. The URLs for the recurring events will change slightly. But, you can test out how it will behave prior to getting a refund. Go to WP Admin > Plugins, and disable Events Calendar Pro. Now you can see how those events work without Pro. If this is eomthing you are happy with definitely request a refund as outlined above. Or if you have any more questions let me know.
Thank you for voting on that feature request. We will keep that in mind for the future.
Cheers!

ParticipantYou’re very welcome. We are obviously sad to see you go, but appreciate you sharing why. I too think that is a feature we can improve on, and probably will within a year. We have a lot of features we’re building right now and literally have a years worth already planned, but as soon as we can this is something I’d like to see us revisit.
Cheers!
