Thanks for reaching out and I’m sorry about this issue you are having with the categories.
I have tried to re-create the glitch but I didn’t manage so far. This is what I did:
- Create 2 event categories (“Front-end” and “Back-end”)
- Go to the Community Events Submission page and create an event
- event is recurring daily for 5 days
- event has the category “Front-end” assigned to it
- The event series is properly created, all recurrences have the “Front-end” category
- Edit the event series in the front-end (basically using the Community Events submission form)
- remove the event category “Front-end”
- add the event category “Back-end”
- update
- The event series is updated and all recurrences now show only the “Back-end” category.
Is this what you are doing as well or your process which produces the glitch is different? Can you give me some details so I can look into this?
