ParticipantHi,
Here is my problem a recurrent event shows this in the event list like that. Is there a workaround because it’s really not nice on a French web site having English, it is like it is too verbose. and is there a way to remove recurring event, show all.
If is is like this is unusable !!!
it shows that :
Sophrologie – Améliorer son sommeil22 septembre 5:45 – 6:45
|Événément Récurent
(Voir tout)An event every week on the same day that lasts 0 day(s) and 0 hour(s), the last of which will begin on 3 November 2015,

ParticipantHey Valerie,
Sorry you’re having some trouble here!
To be clear, it sounds like you essentially want to change the display of the text that reads like: “An event every week on the same day that lasts 0 day(s) and 0 hour(s), the last of which will begin on 3 November 2015”
Is that correct?
If so, the only way to do this at this time is to modify code 🙁 I’m sorry about that!
Are you interested in writing custom code? Or would you rather wait for an upcoming product release? We’re going to add the “custom description” back in a future release 🙂

ParticipantHi,
I’m interested in writing custom code. I’m originally a computer science program engineer now a meditation teacher and won’t have any problems in customizing the code. But what garanty do I have that it won’t be a waste, in which release do you plan to do it ?
A workaround I see is the listing option the you have in the calendar view with great formatting, how do you put the forward events button that is up at the top of the page down, because up I talked to a designer web expert you don’t feel like clicking on it. Can you change the name and the place where to put it.
Sorry I’m a newbie so I’ll ask surely a dumb question, how do you get in the menu the calendar event with the list view.regards,
Valerie
thanks.
Regards,
Valerie

ParticipantHey Valerie,
Thanks for your reply!
The first thing I wanted to point out is that you asked some questions in your reply about the “forward events button” and such, but I unfortunately don’t quite understand what you’re trying to accomplish. I’m sorry about my misunderstanding! Can you clarify exactly what you’re trying to do, in a bit more detail? Share screenshots if possible and I can hopefully provide some more help there – I just want to make sure I understand your question completely so that I can best help you out with it! 🙂
As for the “custom recurrence description” customization, in my personal opinion this would be a relative waste of time because we are indeed going to be including this in the next major update of the plugin. This will likely not be the “maintenance release” coming soon but the next actual major update, which should arrive some time in October if all goes to plan.
Thanks!
