ParticipantI have try this advice from the forum:
“You can delete single recurrences of events by going into WP Admin, click on one, and clicking Move to Trash. For recurring events that happen on a holiday, this would be the easiest way to get rid of them”.
But when I click one single recurrences of events then all recurrences are clicked so if I send to trash all of them disappear.

MemberHi – there might have been a mix-up. Rather than doing this from the list of events (in the admin environment), try opening the event you wish to trash in the event editor, then hit the trash link from there.
Does that help? We’re aware this isn’t ideal and are actually in the process of making some changes that might help with this in future releases.

MemberOK: I’m unsure why it isn’t working for you like that – but perhaps it is a conflict with another theme or plugin? When you hit the trash link from within the event editor do you see a confirmation dialog asking if you want the change all events or just that one event? If not, I would indeed suspect a conflict.
Do note that we are in the process of changing how recurrence works “under the hood” and so you will probably see some improvements with regard to this sort of thing as our next few releases arrive.

ParticipantThank you Barry, there is no confirmation dialog so maybe is a conflict with something. I desactivate all plugins and the same problem. Maybe the conflict is with the wordpress theme which is divi from elegant themes. I look forward the improvents.

MemberSure – hopefully it will let you accomplish this change. If after the next release you do still continue to have difficulties then investigating if the theme is indeed conflicting would definitely be worthwhile.
For the time being though I’ll close this thread, but please don’t hesitate to open new ones as needed for this or anything else in the future.
Thanks!

ParticipantI have the same problem: All the serie goes to the trash.
I do not want to change theme (using The Road Fighter Theme). What I can do?April 4, 2014 at 10:43 am #128208Barry
MemberHi makow: sorry we missed your post – what I’d recommend is posting a new thread of your own if you still need help with this (that will also ensure it is flagged up for someone to respond to).
@centromahamudra: since this thread’s not seen much activity for the last couple of weeks so I’ll go ahead and close it. Of course if you still need help with this or any other issue please don’t hesitate to create a new thread (or threads) and one of the team will be only too happy to help. Thanks! -
