Recurrence rules > custom > frequency > weekly: day selection bug

Hello,

One of my clients has found a bug with your plugin.

When creating recurrence rules for recurring events and choosing the custom option and the weekly frequency the wrong day is selected. The +1 day is selected.

Eg. If I choose Thursday with the checkboxes then it says it’s going to recur on Friday and it does in fact occur for dates that are a Friday from then on.

Please see the screenshot URL I have pasted below in system info.

An urgent fix for this bug is required.

Thanks for reaching out to us!

It looks like the layout of that section may be causing a bit of confusion here. Based on the screenshot, it looks like Friday is selected as the day for the recurrence. The checkbox comes before the value that should be selected.

Definitely looks like an easy mistake to make though and something we may want to look at adding a little clarity for with that layout.

Thanks very much! Yes I can see that now. I can also understand why my client was confused as the label text is actually sitting closer to the checkbox after when really it is related to the checkbox before. Please adjust this layout / padding in your next release and I’m sure there won’t be any more confusion 🙂
