Recommended WP themes

Hi there!

Do you have a list of themes that you recommend to users wanting Events Calendar integration? I notice that Avada has recently added lots of styling integration. Are there any other WP themes that work particularly well with your plugins?

I’m setting up an e-commerce site selling luxury retreats and the Events Calendar + Tickets + Woo looks like the perfect solution so would love a recommendation before diving in (though I realise you may not like to make 3rd party recommendations).

Hey Christian,

We unfortunately don’t have a standard list of recommendations. In general, though, we recommend going with a theme that follows WordPress coding standards. So, any free theme on http://wordpress.org/themes/ is an example of this.

Other good options are premium theme shops whose themes meet those coding standards. Array Themes is one of those shops → http://arraythemes.com. WooThemes, too → http://woothemes.com

I do not recommend any premium theme that does not follow WordPress coding standards strictly. It reveals much about the quality of the theme and it’s worth asking any theme vendor if they do this before buying from them.

Once you ensure theme-standards compliance, find a theme that works aesthetically and functionally for your project and give it a shot.

I’m sorry that I don’t have many specific recommendations here! But I hope the highlighting of the importance of WordPress coding standards leads you in a good direction to find a well-made, high-quality theme.

Trust me, while the “good” themes might seem pricey up front, the amount of money they save in the long run compared to getting a cheap but poorly-coded theme more than pays for itself. I’m speaking from experience on that! 😀

When i was created my blog, i have bought theme on this site http://10bestpremium.com/wordpress-restaurant-cafe-themes.html. There are very much various themes and, i think, you will like some and, may be, you will buy it. Also you can adrees to WordPress exprert. With best wishes. Good luck!
