Participanthi there, i have a couple of questions regarding photo view:
1. is it possible to add a border around each event box in the photo view?or alternatively modify the background colour of the box to something other than white?
2. is it possible to limit the amount of text you see on the photoview box and have a continue reading link (similar to what you would see in a blog roll)
3. is it possible to have an event show up (in any view) but not clickable.. my site has public holidays on the calender but they do not really need to be clickable as the there is little information inside the link..thanks to anyone who can answer my questions!

MemberHey aurelio! Thanks for this report, and my sincere apologies for the delay in getting you a reply here. We’re still not back to our regular 24 hour response window and I’m sorry for the delay we caused you as a result of that.
It looks like you’ve got #1 sorted, right? You are correct that you’d want to do an override of the photo.php view, which basically means creating your own template that the plugin calls instead of the default one. Template overrides are covered in some depth at https://theeventscalendar.com/what-are-template-overrides-and-how-do-i-do-them/. Let us know if you have other questions there.
As for your other points:
#2: Have you configured manual excerpts for your events, or just used the “Read More” link that can be generated from the WYSIWYG editor? If I understand your goal here properly, that should accomplish it.
#3: This isn’t really a stock/default behavior, but I suspect you could do it by creating custom templates for any of the views on which you wanted this to take place (it would probably have to be done on each of those individual views, though, rather than finding some way to apply it across-the-board).Hope that helps point you in the right direction. Let me know if not, or if you have other questions here.
