    Hi,
    I need your help to find out if this plug-in fits to my customers needs. Hope to get asap a response.

    1. Compatibility
    Do you have any information about compatibility with divi theme from elegant themes?

    2. paypal
    To sell tickes via payplal do I need woocomerce?

    3. Testing
    Is there a way to test your premium plugins on a live testserver so I can show my customers how this plug-in works? I tried the free version but I need a reallife test environment with filterbar and woocomerce so I can see if there will be conflicts with other standard plugins and themes I am using. Would be great because I have three clients who need an event plugin.

    4. Shortcodes
    Are there any shortcodes I can use to customize the sites for displaying events, if yes can you please send me the shortcodes? The shortcode plugin is good but not really what I am looking for. Hope that the Pro Version has some more features I can use.
    Your main event site is nearly perfect but one of my customers want special views of categories on one page as a gridsystem or list so his clients can choose the category by navigation.

    5. What is the response time by support?
    My clients are growing fast and one needs often a short response time if support is needed. This is only a question if there is really a problem with the plugin.

    6. Update to pro
    One of my customers needs very urgent an event calendar. Because of the events at the beginning are free I plan to start with the free version and upgrade next month to the paid version. What will be the update process? Is it easy to update from free to pro without loosing any informations?

    Would be great to get quick answer so I can move on to integrate the plug-in.

    I am really impressed an I tested now 6 different plugins and yours seems to be the most professional one.

    Hi Reinhard,

    Thanks for reaching out to us and for your interest in our products 🙂 I’ll help you with your questions:

    1. Compatibility

    This is for sure a popular theme among our plugin user base. I’m not sure if it’s compatible with all of our plugins, but surely is with The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO. Maybe Divi support team is able to provide some more feedback on this.

    2. PayPal

    To sell tickets you’ll need Event Tickets, Event Tickets Plus and an e-commerce platform, it can be WooCommerce, Easy Digital Downloads, WP-Ecommerce or Shopp. I’m mostly sure they all support PayPal payments.

    3. Testing

    We do not offer a trial period but you can go ahead and buy the plugins for testing. If you feel they are not the right choice you can ask for a full refund within 30 days of purchase. Hopefully that works for you.

    4. Shortcodes

    Yeap, Events Calendar PRO comes packed with some useful widget shortcodes.

    5. What is the response time by support?

    The scope and time of support is described in our knowledge base article: What support is provided for license holders?. Basically we try to reply at least once in no more than 24hrs, but that might vary if there’s a peak of activity in the forums.

    6. Update to pro

    Events Calendar PRO works as an add-on for The Events Calendar core plugin, so it’s really easy to upgrade. You’ll need just to install and active PRO, there’s not much more to do. Existing event data will be preserved, no need for migration or additional steps.
