We are looking for a booking and ticket engine to a website selling tickets for river boat cruises. Our website is in two (perhaps three in the future) languages. Will it be possible to run the reservations in two languages? Directly? Through WPML?

The recurring event feature would be nice to have, but there is a remark that Event Tickets Plus will NOT support tickets for recurring events. When do you think it will be possible?

I also noticed in the free version the different types of tickets (say Adult, Reduced) are counted separately. Would it be possible to have the ticket limit counted together – we have, say 20 spaces and we can fill them with various proportion of different tickets types but 20 altogether?

Also, can we predefine the ticket types somehow? We have standard ticket prices and it would be convenient to use them rather than define ticket type and price separately for each event.

    Hi,

Thanks for the interest in our plugins. I can answer your questions.

Currently, we do not support WPML and our Event Ticket Plugins so you cannot use WPML on events with tickets or they will not work.

If you think that is something you would like as a feature I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request or make a new request there.

If you use Event Tickets Plus and create all the tickets as WooCommerce Tickets, which do include a free option you can use Global Stock to sell a total of 20 tickets.

I do not have a timeline for support on recurring events and there is no feature to predefine tickets at this time.

Let me know if you have any follow up questions.

    Thanks

    Hi,

I am concerned about the ticket stock. We sell tickets for the boat cruises, there may be 5 or more trips per day, each can take, say, 20 passengers. I understand that we would have to create 20 Normal tickets, 20 children and 20 family, than limit the stock to 20 (for this one cruise) What I am afraid of is that people will see for example 2 normal tickets available (18 booked) and 20 children (0 booked), they try to book 2 normal and 5 children and only at checkout they will see “sorry, limit exceeded” – this would be very frustrating. Would it be so? Is it possible perhaps to define tickets as “spaces” and at woocommerce use various options (product variations) to allow people to adjust fee to their situation. ut will it be possible to book various fares at the same checkout?

How do you see your plugin in practice in this situation?

    Hi,

It does not work the way you describe.

It does not show the remaining stock when using global stock.

The system automatically detects the remaining stock and uses javascript to change the quantities to what is available if someone would go over.

    It later validates that too.

So if you have 10 remaining stock and someone purchases 2 standard and enters 10 children it would change the children quantity to 8 on the ticket form and before it is added to the cart.

We do not support WooCommerce Variations with tickets.

    Thanks

    Thank you for your reply,

Would it be possible to see admin demo for events calendar pro with event tickets plus and Woocommerce and try to play around? We are a bit terrified with a huge amount of tickets needed to be defined, with, say, 5 cruises a day and 3 ticket types this is 450 tickets to define per month. I know we can clone events but the clone comes without tickets.

Or would there be an easy way to define the events and tickets directly in the database?

    Hi,

Unfortunately, I do not have an admin demo.

We do offer a 30 day refund so you could get the plugins and do tests on it for 30 days and if it does not work out you can ask for your money back.

We do not have resources creating events and tickets in large amounts only one at a time. So that would be a big obstacle that we would be unable to support as it is not a feature we ship with.

You may have better luck using a Booking Plugin such as WooCommerce Bookings instead.

Let me know if you have any follow up questions.

    Thanks
