Questions about calendar

HelloGuys,

So I am super confused about all the different plugins you have for the calendar. I am looking for a plugin that allows me to create recurring events, potentially a plugin that can keep my facebook events in SYNC with the website events. Is it possible to create an event on facebook when I create one on the website automatically? Last but not the least, be able to sell tickets for the events online (I currently use Tickera for that).

Hi Eddie, thanks for getting in touch! There definitely are a lot of options and configurations possible with our plugins, so I totally understand the confusion. 🙂

The Events Calendar is the base plugin that all the others depend on. It’s free and allows you to set up a calendar of events on your WordPress site.

If you’re looking for recurring events, then you should also pick up Events Calendar PRO. When it is installed and activated alongside The Events Calendar, it allows you to create recurring events on the calendar.

We do have a plugin called Facebook Events that will allow you to import events from Facebook into The Events Calendar. However, I do want to note that it does not keep events in sync or allow you to publish events to Facebook from WordPress. It’s simply an importer.

Lastly, you asked about the ability to sell tickets for your events. That’s totally possible by adding the following plugins:

• Event Tickets (free) – This allows you to add RSVP functionality to events and provides the foundation for selling tickets.
• Event Tickets Plus – This connects Event Tickets to WooCommerce so that you can create and sell paid tickets directly on your site.
