Question: Security Notice: Modified Plugin ?

Hello,

My security plugin has advised me overnight that there are a series of modifications to the plugin [ I think things are OK] but I just wanted to double-check with you that this is correct?

I received thirty-eight [38] separate warnings for a series of modifications, all looking something like this.

/plugins/the-events-calendar/lang/tribe-events-calendar-tr_TR.mo

/plugins/the-events-calendar/lang/tribe-events-calendar-tr_TR.po

/plugins/the-events-calendar/lang/tribe-events-calendar-sk_SK.po

I am relatively new to this so am seeking confirmation. I think this is just an administrative change and when comparing the new and modified files, there just appears to be random characters substituted in the first 30-40 lines of the file?

I have a screen-shot if needed.

Any advice appreciated.

Hi,

We updated all the plugin files on the release so that is normal. That is expected to happen on almost every update of the plugin.
