Question about Tagging Friends in Events

Good Morning,

Is it possible, (in the free or paid for version), to ‘Invite’ facebook friends to your event. In other words, could I invite friends to a wordpress created event from my own website.
It’s VERY nice that you can create events, but it is a huge inconvenience for my users to have to go to facebook to ‘invite’ their friends. It would be nice if there was a quick way to do it from my WordPress site. Please let me know if this is possible.

Hey there GalenL,

While that’s a really interesting concept, it’s not what our Facebook Events plugin is designed to do. You’re asking to go from WordPress into Facebook, while our plugin actually pulls data from Facebook and puts it into WordPress.

You may be able to find a third-party plugin that can accomplish this, but it’s not a feature ours currently has or that’s on the immediate roadmap. That said if you wanted to make a request for it on our UserVoice page, we’ll definitely take it into consideration as we plan future releases.
