    Hi, I am converting my website over to Event’s Calendar Pro as the basis for my site – but wanted to know one thing about the recurring event function. Is there an option to control the length of the recurring period? For example 3 months. where a user would receive a message saying something like ‘Event’s could not recur over 3 months’

    I would like to avoid users being able to set year-long recurring events.

    Hello,

    Thanks for the interest in Pro.

    I can answer your question.

    There is a setting here:

    Events > Settings > General > “Create recurring events in advance for”

    You can use that to set how many months in advanced recurring events would be created.

    It defaults to 24, but you could set it to 3.

    That is a global setting so once you set it to 3 all recurring events would be limited by it.
