question about featured image in eventlist

hi,

I’m using Events Calendar as part of the Socialize theme that I purchased. It’s a great plugin for announcing events! I would like to show the featured image next to the event name, within this theme. I did already ask the theme builder but they say that it is a setting within the Events calendar plugin. Can you help me to achieve this?
This is how it shows in Socialize theme: link to attachment

I know it should be possible because in a different theme (Avada) the featured image is showing in a widget with the latest messages, see link to attachment

Thanks so much for getting in touch! So glad to hear you’re loving The Events Calendar so far. 🙂

You can use a template override to customize any of the plugin’s views. So, for example, if you would like to move the featured image for an event, you can save the plugin’s template file for that view in your theme, reposition the image by moving the code for it, then saving your work.
