GuestHi there,
We are planning on using both Calendar Pro and Ticket Plus for our art school as a way for students and parents to easily enroll in and pay tuition for our courses.
(Judging by your comments on the way recurring events and tickets plus works currently, we think these are both good solutions for us since all of our students must enroll in a series of classes. Therefore, we do not need to charge for every single event in a series, which your plugins can’t do right now. We would just create new series of classes once the course finishes)
However, before committing to purchasing both plugins, I’d like to know how easy it is to change the front-end text that a customer would see? We can’t refer to the courses as “tickets” on the invoices, receipts, front-end of website, etc. since that makes no sense in context. We’d instead like to refer to these units as “students” or “seats”
I hope that’s clear!

GuestAh I did a bit more digging and found this documentation about using a custom text array (https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/change-the-wording-of-any-bit-of-text-or-string/)
If I use this method, would all mentions of say “ticket” in transactional emails revert to the custom text as well?

KeymasterHello Jason Kim,
Thanks for reaching out and evaluating our plugins for your needs. It does seem like the combination of Events Calendar Pro and Event Tickets Plus will satisfy your needs.
To answer your question on the quoted knowledgebase article, that trick changes the wording of anything that gets translated in WordPress, so it is highly likely that it changes the email texts as well.
As a backup option it is possible to customize the email templates and change the texts in the code. For that we have some nice articles in our knowledgebase.
I hope this answers your question and helps you in your decision.
Is there anything else I can help you out with?

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
