I’m not sure if this is a bug or not, but I’ve been developing a new site (localhost) and am using ECP and Pods Framework plugins. I notice that I have to add a wp_reset_query(); after the minicalendar or else the query from the ECP filter gets passed to my pods widget. This is not reproduced when I place the Pod widget before the ECP Calendar widget, so I can only assume that the global post data is not restored after the ECP widget.
I apologize for the failure to get a proper response to you in a timely manner. I just wanted to let you know that we’ve not forgotten about you and will be with you shortly.
Thanks for reporting this: I’ll check it out (probably tomorrow at this point) and it could be we pretty much need to do as you suggested and cleanup after the query/queries have run for that widget.
Bear with us and I’ll update you as quickly as I can.
There certainly looks to be a problem on our side here – we’re going to look into this and aim to get a fix in place in an upcoming maintenance release.
Thanks for your patience so far – it sounds like you’ve got a decent workaround in place and I’d recommend continuing to use that until a substantive fix arrives.
I just wanted to let you know that a fix for this issue is included in our upcoming version 3.3. Keep an eye out on your WordPress Plugins page for an update. Thanks for your patience while we worked on this!
