Query events to retrieve list of unique events

Hi guys,
I’ve been working with the plugin and trying to integrate it with my templates. I would like to retrieve a list of the unique events. I’m trying to query for posts of type tribe_events using WP_Query and it returns all occurrences of all events. I do want information about the reoccurring events to be returned, but I’d like to easily get a list of the events without all the occurrences in the list, so I can just display a list of upcoming unique events. What is the best way to accomplish this?

Hi tactica: have you tried passing in hide_upcoming (and setting it to 1)?
