We’ve noticed that when tickets are delivered to our customers via email, the QR code (for check-in) doesn’t always display. I suspect this may be due to email clients (gmail, outlook, etc.) not displaying HTML graphics by default. Is that a common issue? Any workarounds, if it is? I recall that some of the big ticketing applications will have you print out a PDF file instead of the mail itself.

    Hey @rivermile,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Yeah, the QR code is actually an image and some email clients have a tendency of blocking images by default. This is something the recipient can resolve by changing the preferences in their email application to accept images by default or those in email from specific senders.

We are planning to include an option to attach tickets to emails as a PDF. I’m not exactly sure where that is in the roadmap, but I see that the feature request has been marked as planned.

Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂

    Cheers!
    Geoff

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
