KeymasterHi guys,
I’m sorry for the somewhat longer waiting time. We are experiencing an higher than usual load in our help desk. We have all hands on deck to ensure everyone gets an answer as soon as possible.
Sorry to hear about that issue with the QR code app and the key.
I had a similar case before. What helped, after setting up the api key is exiting the application and even removing it from the running apps, so it’s not running in the background.
Then start the application again.
Please check if this does the trick for you and let me know.
Cheers,

ParticipantHi Andras,
I’ve change API key and exit the running app then re-start app to scan QR code , but it still show the same message βplease verify your API key is correctly entered on the settings page.β

KeymasterHi,
Simply exiting (hitting the back or main button) sometimes is not enough, as the application still stays running in the background.
Try opening the list of your recent apps (I believe on iPhone it’s long pressing the button, on Android it’s the button with the square / 2 squares), and remove it from that list. This will fully close the application.
Also make sure that your website is not behind a coming soon or maintenance mode page, because then the app might not be able to connect and check the validity of your API key.
Let me know if this helps.
Cheers,
