    Hi,

We are building a website for a college and were thinking of using your plugin for the events section. One of the questions they have is whether a user can push an event to their calendar on their phone (I assume it will be Google Calendar or ICal). Is this easy to implement.

Apologies if you already have a page somewhere explaining this feature, but I couldnt quite find the answer to this question.

    Kind regards,
    Luke

    Hey Luke,

Thanks so much for writing in!

Great question. The Events Calendar includes a feature that allows folks to download the ICS or Google Calendar file for any event or event view right out of the box. That’s part of the free plugin, so no need to purchase anything if that’s the only feature you’re looking for. 🙂

That said, I do want to caution that our plugins do not support “pushing” content from one site to another. We do have a service called Event Aggregator that will fetch events from other sites but, at the moment, there is nothing that will automatically push content out to other sites.

Does this help answer your question? Please let me know!

    Cheers,
    Geoff

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
