    I am looking to set something up that would set the category in woocommerce for a ticket in created in the event page the same as the event. Is that possible?

    I know I can do that manually but I am looking for something that would be automatic.

    Thanks for reaching out. What you describe sounds like it wouldn’t be possible without extensive code customization. 🙁

    Just to be sure, though, can you clarify and elaborate on exactly what you are trying to do? I had a hard time figuring out this exact description of things:

    set the category in woocommerce for a ticket in created in the event page the same as the event

    Are you saying that, for example, if you have an event that you want to be in the event category “Barbecue”, you want any tickets on this event to automatically be given the WooCommerce category of the same name, “Barbecue”, upon creation?

    Yes, I have created WooCommerce categories that mirror the ones I have for events, I just need the tickets to be automatically assigned to the same category as the event.

    Thanks for clarifying, @Julie! There is unfortunately no way to have an automatic assigning of categories as described here—you’d have to custom-code this or hire someone else to code it for you. 🙁
