GuestHi if I were to purchase the Filter Bar plugin, will it still work after the 12 months license has expired or will I have to purchase a new license every 12 months?
Is it possible that an update to the core Events Calendar plugin could make the Filter Bar plugin not work any more should we not keep up to date with purchasing a new filter bar license?
My client whose website I am building doesn’t have an ongoing budget so your answers would help to determin whether the events calendar plugin is the right fit for us.
Thanks

GuestAlso if I were to purchase the Filter Bar add on. Would I be able to easily filter events by category and also by Free events or is that beyond the remit of this add on?
And finally, will the cost of the add on be the same every year or is the renewal price different to the original purchase price?
Thanks

MemberHey there
Both Filter Bar and Events Calendar Pro will work after the license expires, but will no longer receive updates for new features or security/bug fixes. Likewise, the account will no longer have access to our Help Desk.
Generally we do not have issues with Events Calendar Pro recent versions working with Filter Bar .
You can test out the default Filter Bar options on our demo site WP Shindig Demo Site https://wpshindig.com/events/. It’s the 2nd row at the top. You are able to create additional filter options with Events Calendar Pro by creating Additional Fields. https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-additional-fields/?utm_campaign=in-app&utm_medium=plugin-ecp&utm_source=settings. These fields are options to include into your own Filter Bar configuration.
The renewal cost at this time remains the same as the initial purchase price. I do not know if the cost will go up, but would only expect minor price increases.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
