Purchase of tickets or event registration through REST API

Is it possible to register for events or purchase tickets for an event through the REST API? A client of mine just had an app developed and is pulling in event information to the app but we do not know if it is possible to register/purchase through the API. If it is possible, is there documentation on implementing this feature?

Hi Douglas

At this time, there is no REST API for tickets. We are in the planning phases of this, and do expect to provide this functionality in the future. However, I don’t have a date to share with you.
