ParticipantI may have made a purchase mistake — we have purchased a license for Events Calendar PRO, but I think I need Event Tickets Plus instead (to integrate with WooCommerce).
I am not completely clear about what ECPro gives me on top of the regular EC plugin. I do need recurring events, however.

MemberHello Marc,
Sorry about that! Would you like me to process a refund of Events Calendar PRO for you? It does include recurring events (which the free version does not), in addition to:
- custom event fields
- advanced widgets (featured venue, countdown and a stronger list widget)
- widget shortcodes
- extra calendar views (map, photo, day and week)
Events Ticket Plus is definitely what you’re looking for as far as connecting Event Tickets to WooCommerce.
Does this help? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers,

ParticipantThanks for your reply. I’m new to what you guys have, and the range of options was hard to get my head around.
We need both the recurring feature of ECPro and the WooC integration of ET+.
I’ll check in with my partners here & get back to you. But it looks like we’ll just make the additional purchase of ET+

MemberRight on, thanks for following up! Definitely let me know if you have any other questions about the plugin features or decide you need a refund and I’d be happy to help. 🙂

ParticipantLooks like we are also going to buy ET+. I will get that done today.
One newbie question while I have you on the line — Can you point me to a help doc for this situation:
We have a two-day event coming up where people can register for day 1, day 2 or both days. How is that handled in your system?
April 7, 2016 at 7:24 am #1099535Geoff
MemberGood question!
You could offer three types of tickets on the same event:
- First day pass = $25
- Second day pass = $25
- Multiday pass = $50
That would prompt the visitor to choose which ticket when registering for the event. they could purchase multiple types of ticket in the same transaction if they are purchasing for more than just themselves.
Here’s an article that covers making tickets in much more detail.
Cheers!

ParticipantToday is our launch day. Architecture question:
As of now we have installed and have activated:
Event Tickets 4.1
Event Tickets Plus 4.1.1
The Events Calendar 4.1.2
The Events Calendar Pro 4.1.1
plus
The Events Calendar Shortcode 1.0.11
and
WooCommerce 2.6.0-devDo I really need both the free and premium versions of ET and TEC running together?
Currently, I have to queue all plugin updates to our developers, and (as you can see) it has been tough to keep everything in sync. Also, what would you recommend as the best starting place for documentation to get WooC integrated? I’m not concerned at this time with customizing anything; just want things to work smoothly “out of the box”
Thanks again for helping a newbie.
Thanks!

MemberHey Marc,
Great questions. Yes, the free and premium versions of both Event Tickets (Event Tickets Plus) and The Events Calendar (Events Calendar PRO) should be installed and active together on the site for everything to work smoothly.
I would also recommend making sure all the plugins are updated to their latest versions. In this case:
- The Events Calendar 4.1.2
- Events Calendar PRO 4.1.2
- Event Tickets 4.1.2
- Event Tickets Plus 4.1.2
It should be noted that the other plugin (The Events Calendar Shortcode) is a third-party plugin and not created or supported by Modern Tribe. It’s cool to use, just wanted to clarify that.
Also, what would you recommend as the best starting place for documentation to get WooC integrated?
As far as integration with The Events Calendar goes, there should be nothing extra to do other than activating The Events Calendar, Event Tickets, Event Tickets Plus and WooCommerce. Right out of the box, it will allow you to create tickets in the events editing screen. We have a new user primer that covers the basics right out of the box, in case that helps.
As far as configuring WooCommerce to accept payments, I would suggest checking out their handy support site for tips and tricks with setting up payments.
Cheers!

ParticipantDon’t want to diverge too far from the original purpose of the thread, but…
We launched yesterday, and in the process our base URL changed to the permanent http://m2foundation.org
You can see the plugin in action at http://m2foundation.org/events/
At launch, our developer had a lot of trouble with unexpected PHP errors, and he had to uninstall / reinstall a couple of times, as well as trying to revert to old versions.
Anyway, I now see the “Sorry, this key is out of installs” message for both paid plugins.
Can you please reset these? Thanks!

MemberGood question and totally off topic at all!
You can actually manage the domains connected to your licenses right here on this site. Sign in to your account and follow the instructions outlined here and you should be good to go.
Let me know if this helps. 🙂

ParticipantPerfect. Should have figured that out myself.
FYI, in the plugin, the “Sorry” link went to a different location than the article you sent me. What you sent was perfect. We can close this thread now & thanks for quick response!

MemberMy pleasure and thanks for the heads up — we’ll work to get that corrected. 🙂
Have a great day!
