I want http://theporneffect.com/events/ this site events(specific category) automatically pull to this site http://integrityrestored.com/events/ event(specific category) calendar. is it possible?
Hey Jordan,
Thanks for reaching out.
There are several ways of migrating WordPress content in general, and events content in particular. There are two main ways that are simple, free and well-documented in these following two articles:
• Method One: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-wordpress-export-tools-to-migrate-events-content/
• Method Two: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-the-events-calendars-csv-importer/☝️ Check out these methods and let me know if there are any other questions I can try to help with!
Sincerely,
GeorgeThanks for the reply. those 2 options are doing manually. i need automatically. example when submit event one of website then it auto post to other website.
Hey Jordan,
Thanks for elaborating on your needs a bit more here. We unfortunately don’t have any offerings that would facilitate a literal automatic posting between sites; but we do have a premium add-on called Events Aggregator coming soon.
This will allow you to “listen” to updates to calendars on one site, and have them automatically pulled into another site on a regularly-scheduled basis.
You can learn more and sign up to get notified when this gets released here → https://theeventscalendar.com/wordpress-event-aggregator/
Cheers,
GeorgeI saw this post https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/pull-feed-from-event-category-from-one-site-to-another-site/
it is say, we can use ical importer and code for ical url. so we can do import ical feed like every hours. but that code actually not working for me. it is pulling website posts. not events.Hey Jordan,
What is the iCal feed URL you are using in the hourly imports? Paste the complete feed URL here in your reply — I will test and see what I find.
Thanks,
GeorgeI was try specific category http://theporneffect.com/?ical=1&tribe-cat=speaking-engagement with hourly import.
i use same code use in here https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/pull-feed-from-event-category-from-one-site-to-another-site/
actually i need all event. not specific category. and send them to specific category. hope you got what i trying to say.Hey Jordan,
Thanks for reaching out.
If you do not need a specific category from the export, then remove that code snippet from your site because it is not necessary.
To import events from http://theporneffect.com/ into another site, the feed URL you should enter into your iCal Importer is http://theporneffect.com/events/?ical=1&tribe_display=month
This will import all events. To have those events imported into a specific category on the other site, you can just select the Category to import into on the import screen as shown in the following screenshot (click for larger size):

cool it work. but it only import this month only. can we import all upcoming events or yearly? i was try with http://theporneffect.com/events/?ical=1&tribe_display=year but no luck.
Hey Jordan,
At this time there is no way to do more than one month at a time. 🙁
Sorry to disappoint!
The closest thing we have to this feature is a custom code snippet we wrote. It is not an official product or anything, so it may not work, and if it does not then we are unfortunately not able to troubleshoot it. However, it might help.
What you can do is download that snippet here → https://theeventscalendar.com/content/uploads/2016/07/tribe-snippet-ical-export.zip
Then, install that .zip file onto your site like a normal plugin.
Once installed, “Activate” the plugin.
Then, you should be able to try using theporneffect.com/events/?ical=1&tribe_display=year
I hope this helps!
George
