ParticipantHi,
When I log in to WordPress with the Admin account and click the Events on the left hand side, and again click Events I get status that there exists 147 published Events, but none of them are listed!?
I’ve disabled all other plug-ins and even disabled Events Calendar PRO and then enabled it again, but it still shows the same, no rows shown although it is stated Published (147).
What can be wrong?
Sincerely,
Andreas BodinNovember 18, 2013 at 2:54 pm #77048Chris
ParticipantHi there,
Can you get us the System Information for your site, located in the Help section of the Tribe settings of the site or subsite where this is happening, and also tell us if this is a single site or part of an MS setup? Thanks,

ParticipantHey Chris,
I am having a similar problem as well. None of the events show up in the list and the Events tab reads ‘No events found’

ParticipantOk, got the solution from another thread.
I had inadvertently applied a filter. That’s why they were not showing.
Thanks Barry

ParticipantI checked and had no filters applied.
I even tested to add the “code” to my themes functions.php file and that made my whole website unavailable. 🙂So, I am still hoping for a resolution. 🙂

ParticipantHi again!
I installed the Debug Bar plugin and went to list the Events after I logged in as administrator and clicked Event on the left hand side.
This plugin was great!
It directly gave me debugging information. 🙂It gave me info that there was 1 DB Error and 22 queries.
I am not sure if the solution is propsed, but at the bottom of the debug report it states:
The SELECT would examine more than MAX_JOIN_SIZE rows; check your WHERE and use SET SQL_BIG_SELECTS=1 or SET MAX_JOIN_SIZE=# if the SELECT is okay
Does this help you guys to provide me with some help?November 20, 2013 at 10:01 pm #77786Chris
ParticipantYeah that helps alot actually. We’ve definitely ran into that problem on some people’s servers before (its caused when the host sets the max_join_size really low). We’ve got a snippet for that somewhere. I’ll find that tomorrow morning for you 🙂

ParticipantI have this same issue. I’ve cleaered any filters, and tried the modified code for theme’s function.php file. It also made the site unavailable. I’m praying for a fix. Thanks.

ParticipantOk, here’s what we’d like you to try:
1. Deactivate and then re-activate Pro. See if your events are back.
2. If that doesn’t work try dropping https://gist.github.com/jazbek/6585714 into your theme’s functions.php file (minus the <?php ).Also if you could specify whether you guys are using WP Multisite or not that would be great

Participantadded the code to the funtions.php file, and that fixed the issue. Not using Multisite.

ParticipantHi @Chris!
I de-activated PRO and then the Events popped-up in the list. 🙂
Re-activated PRO then the same issue was back.
Added the suggested code into the theme’s function.php file and voila! It was solved! 😀Thank you very much for your help @Chris!
You can resolve and close this question.
