ParticipantNow that there is a public attendee list is there any way to get the person’s name show show up on the avatar when you hover over it?
I can see the list of people if I view the the source of the rendered single event page.

ParticipantHey @Danfeeley,
Sorry for my confusion here, but can you clarify what you are referring to when you say “public attendee list”? Can you also share a link to the specific place where you read that this was a new feature?
I just want to make sure I 100%-accurately understand what you’re referring to! 🙂
Thank you,

ParticipantThanks for clarifying, @danfeeley.
The features you are trying to implement are possible, but would unfortunately require code customizations to implement. 🙁
So to implement the features you describe, you would have to write that custom code or hire a professional developer to write the code for you. We have a list of great developers here → http://m.tri.be/18k1 (and have no affiliation with any of these folks—they’re simply some well-respected names in the community that we’ve compiled to share in situations like this one).
I’m sorry about the nature of your customization! It’s outside the scope of what we can provide here.
I wish you the best of luck with your customizations and site.
Sincerely,

ParticipantThank you for the info George. I understand the part about custom code. Unless I am doing something wrong this just seems to be an incomplete feature. Tribe went through the trouble of bringing the attendee information all the way to the single event and then just chose to display a number of avatars??
Anyway, I got what I was going for. The “alt” text for the avatar image was already provided with the user name in the array, I just needed to copy it to the “title” text to get me the “tooltip hover”.

ParticipantGlad to hear this, @Danfeeley—this is the first iteration of this feature so I cannot disagree that there are some things we can do to make it better.
Best of luck with your project!
Sincerely,
