GuestHi π The reason we chose to use the contact form to send you an email regarding this is because we are unable to mark the message as private. We also thought that what we are looking for may require customization therefore would like to request for a quotation for these customization.
We are looking to build a website where we would like to allow customers to purchase or subscribe to our classes. Community Ticket and Event is almost what we are looking for but we are uncertain whether it’s features would suit our needs.
Based on our requirements, would you be able to help us determine whether the plugins are suitable? If it isn’t would you be able to provide us with a quotation on customizing the plugins please?
Currently, our instructors each manages their own classes and collects payment on our behalf. We’d like to provide students with a platform where they can check out which classes or instructors are available and on which date so that they are given the flexibility to apply and pay for either by session or through a subscription where they return weekly for a period of time for training.
With the community calendar and ticket plugin, we thought that our instructors can now input the date and time of their availability and classes for group or private sessions and allow students to make online purchases of said sessions.
However, our concern is whether the plugin have the capability to allow for subscription based training or lessons where students can sign up for training based on our programme duration. Based on our understanding, the plugin may only be suitable for one day sessions as the ticket being sold is only meant for that day and time on the calendar and not recursive.
Lastly, can the ticket sales be categorized and tagged so that it can be filtered by the instructor’s name for example and also sorted by date in woo commerce’ order list so that we can export an excel sheet of the students who are attending that particular class as a checklist to take their attendance?

Thanks for reaching out and for your interest in our plugins! While the answer to your last question above about whether ticket sales can be tagged/categorized is “yes”, unfortunately the answers to your other questions are not so good π For example, this is more or less your central question:

Neither Community Tickets nor any combination of our current lineup of plugins will enable subscription-based payments and member management. I’m sorry to disappoint!

Finally, just to be clear, your first sentence seemed to indicate that you believe this to be an email conversation βΒ however, please note that these are public forums and is a forum conversation! π Just wanted to make sure that was clear in case you felt comfortable to share personal information as if we were over email or something; we are not, we’re here on our main public support forums.
